And. OMG. I e-mailed Anne Rice (yes that Anne Rice) to thank her for being so moving with her writing. For her to have been able to write so freely on topics that society has issues with - its beautiful. I finished The Vampire Armand and was motivated by all the religious themes, which surprised me. As a homosexual myself, I've had issues going to church. I've felt that they've turned their back on me. I told her all of this (much more elaborately) - and I got a response back. So I replied back, still no response to that... but she's a busy lady.
