Aren't Heartless Cute?

This is the Riku replica, Repliku, and for lack of a better name, now known as 'Kaigan' in my roleplaying. (Even though I've got a preference for still just calling him Repliku anyway.) And he's got a cute 'ittle Heartless in his lap. I've drawn this outfit on Kai before, a few of you will recognize it.

And... Yes. I can still draw on paper. xD Woot!

Most of my work recently has been 100% digital. I have to admit that drawing on paper now feels strange after using a tablet for so long. I did crumble up a few other pictures before this that were doodle-riffic, but I eventually got back into the swing of things. xD This is now the first picture in a new sketchbook!

I'm going to a family reunion next month in Iowa. It's a huge thing that only happens every four years. I seems like I end up going every two years anyway, just to see relatives that actually live there. This year I want to bring my sketchbook because I feel that if I show people my digital art they won't believe I drew it.

I mean... seriously: The people at WalMart who decorate the cakes refused to print one of my girlfriend's pictures onto a cake because they didn't believe she drew it. I mean... come ON. It's cake. You eat it!

So, yah. I want a sketchbook full of traditional art to prove that I'm really the artist behind my work. >_>
